What to Wear to Disney World for Comfort
Being comfortable is so important when it comes to Disney World. You’ll be doing quite a bit of walking each day of your trip at the parks.
A comfortable pair of shoes and a light-weight t-shirt are a must!
Leave the high-heeled shoes and brand-new pair of shoes behind. This is not the time to break in your new purchases!

Every Disney Fashionista needs a Minnie Mouse Ear headband. It’s a must for pictures in front of the castle!
I’ve noticed a lot of influencers also wearing skirts and Disney graphic tees that show their love for their favorite character or ride.

It’s during this time that you can get super creative and mix in a bit of fashion with a theme park twist!
What to Wear to Disney World for the Disney Bounder
Disney Bounding is when someone dresses in non-costume clothes that resemble a character.
A blogger came up with the concept of Disney Bounding so people can still represent their favorite characters in their own individual style.
Think of your favorite character that you would like to dress as at the park. Then, use their style to influence what you wear.
For example, if I was Disney Bounding as Ariel I might wear all green clothes and a seashell necklace.
So many fun and themed accessories can be found on Amazon or at party supply stores. Be creative! DIYing an outfit is half the fun sometimes.

Best Clothes for Disney World for Water Park Days
On water park days, leave the Minnie headbands at the hotel room. Anything you wear should be able to get wet.
Seriously, you get soaked at the water parks.
If you don’t want to wear a bathing suit there, you could wear a waterproof swim shirt.
The Florida sun is no joke especially if you’re not used to it. You can develop a sunburn very quickly in the summer months. Lather up that sunscreen and protect yourself.
Some guests choose to wear waterproof shoes at the water parks to prevent having to hold them or stash them in a locker. They’re also good to protect your feet from hot concrete.
What to Wear to Disney World for the Winter Season
January is usually the coldest month in Florida.
Even if where you are coming from is a lot colder, it’s still a good idea to pack a jacket and warm clothes.
It can get into the 40’s sometimes even 30’s at night in the winter.
A fleece zip up or a pullover hoodie is perfect for winter especially if it’s warmer during the day. Tie it around your waist, you’ll be thankful later on!

By the end of February or early March, Florida starts seeing warmer weather at night.
Depending on where you are traveling from you might still have snow on the ground!

What to Wear to Disney World in the Summer Season
If you’re traveling to Disney in the summer, plan for very hot days and lots of heavy rain.
Seriously, it will rain almost every day of your trip in June and July.
Shorts, short sleeves, sunscreen and sunglasses will help with the heat. A light rain jacket or poncho will protect you from the rain.
Many people wear fans around their neck or cooling towels to stay cool.
Have a lot of patience if you are traveling to Disney during these months. The heat can make people crazy!
Best Clothes for Disney World in the Fall
Fall is such a beautiful time in Florida! It’s a lot warmer than most other places at that time and you could easily wear shorts and short sleeves.
It may even be hotter than you think! You’ll also want to plan for some rain around this time as well (as every season really!)

When hanging out at the resort, my go-to outfit is sweatpants and a tank top. I have to always have casual and comfy vibes in my room and around the resort area.
While at the pool you’ll want your bathing suit, flip-flops and wide brimmed hat to block the sun.

It’s so important to pack comfortable shoes for your time at Disney.
A light jacket (for the winter) and a light shirt (for the spring and summer) with your favorite Disney character is the best for any vacation.
