When the crypt doors creak and the tombstones quake…Spooks come out for a swinging wake…

Happy Haunts materialize….

Is that song familiar to you?

Well, even if it isn’t you’ll definitely be hearing it in Disney World in October if you stay one night for Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party.

Disney World always celebrates Halloween in an awesome way. It’s definitely family-friendly, and yet, that parade will give you the spooks! It’s pretty impressive.

So, you’re going to Disney World this October?

What to Wear in October to Disney World for Women

Ladies, in October, Orlando really starts to cool off.

It’s nothing dramatic- there will still definitely be some hotter days walking around the theme parks.

Plan to wear short-sleeves, comfortable leggings or shorts, and maybe one long-sleeve shirt just in case.

My best hack for packing for these in-between months like October, is to always bring a lightweight sweater or jacket that you can throw on when the nights get chillier.

But don’t pack exclusively long-sleeve items or you may have to make a trip to the nearest Disney merchandise store.

Go for some black and white stripes. A blazer might be too hot for the parks, but even a t-shirt or top of some sort with black and white stripes will give the Skellington vibe.

You could even switch it up and wear the stripes on your pants, knee socks, or overalls. Make sure you wear black shoes to complete the Disney Bounding outfit.

You can even find some awesome Jack Skellington-themed jewelry online. Want to really pull off the look? Maybe add some black lipstick!

Check out my best tips for you to keep in mind:

  1. Cute fall-colored knee socks really dress up shorts or a skirt and add a Fall-themed touch.
  2. The weather could be warm during the day and cool at night, so always pack a light jacket or sweatshirt!
  3. Don’t wear too much jewelry. You always run the risk of losing it on fast rides, and on warmer days the jewelry can rub against your skin, which can be painful!
  4. There’s nothing more classic than a Mickey or Minnie Disney Bound. Consider going red, white, and black one day. If your goal is to Disney Bound as Minnie, go for red bows, polka dots, or true Minnie Mouse ears. If your goal is Mickey: wear some yellow socks or shoes, and definitely rock the Mickey ears. They’re just too classic.
  5. Last but not least: Dress comfortably! We love wearing leggings to the parks. It’s often perfect for both warm and chilly days. When in doubt, go for athleisure wear. Disney Parks can be a workout!
