9 Beginner Tips for the Best Universal Epic Universe Solo Trip!
To travel alone, I’ve had to develop a few tips and tricks along the way that I want to share with you.
1. Don’t Jump Right into Solo Travel
Traveling solo can feel a bit overwhelming for some Universal fans, so I suggest easing into it.
Imagine you show up at Universal a day before your family arrives—why not explore a part of Epic Universe?
It could help you get used to the idea of traveling alone.
Who knows, it might even inspire you to spend an entire day at one of the Universal Orlando parks all by yourself!
2. Plan out Your Day at Epic Universe
Don’t forget to look into your destination before you go.
I know the idea of heading to a Universal park solo can feel a bit overwhelming, so I really suggest planning out your day.
Having an itinerary can help ease that travel stress and keep your mind focused on all the exciting things you want to do at Epic Universe.

It’s another awesome way to connect with fellow Universal lovers. Once you start building those online connections, you might just find friendships that last a lifetime!

7. Take Lots of Photos at Epic Universe
Make sure to snap tons of selfies during your time at Universal Orlando Resort!
Don’t skip out on those pics with the characters you meet in the park. It might feel a bit silly, but trust me, it’s a lot of fun.
I’ve heard of folks visiting solo just to hang out with the unique characters throughout Universal Studios.
With all your photo memories from Universal Orlando, you’ll always look back and remember why your solo adventure was totally worth it!
8. Know the Reasons Why Doing Epic Universe Solo is Incredible!
Let’s now go over my favorite park, the REAL reasons solo travel to Universal Orlando is AMAZING!!!
Perk #1: Freedom.
There’s something really freeing about wandering through the parks solo.
You can enjoy Hiccup and his amazing dragons putting on a show at Epic Universe without anyone teasing you about what you like to do for fun.
Plus, the day seems to fly by, so you can fit in more activities without feeling stressed out.
Perk #2: You Become a Better Problem Solver.
When you go solo, you really get to sharpen your problem-solving skills.
Since it’s just you on your adventure, you’ll find yourself coming up with plan A, plan B, and even plan C for some of the theme park activities.
When you’re with a group, there are usually lots of different opinions and ideas about how to handle issues that pop up. But when it’s just you, you become the go-to person for finding solutions.
Perk #3: You Meet Incredible Solo ThemeParkHipsters
Since I began visiting Universal on my own, I’ve realized that I’ve gained a lot more confidence in social situations.
Going solo to Universal Orlando really brings me joy, and that happiness helps me feel at ease when meeting new people.
9. Remember You’re Home and Never Truly Alone
When you step foot into Universal Orlando, it really feels like you’ve come home.
The Team Members, the characters, and even the other guests can feel like family. It’s honestly the most magical family reunion you could imagine!
