The only problem is that you don’t know quite what to do in an area themed around Mickey Mouse.
Walt Disney World is one of my favorite places to go for a quick, fun date with my guy. But, in order for it to be a truly remarkable romantic date you have to know what to do!
Lucky for you, Disney World offers couples an array of activities to do while vacationing.

The Romantic Side of Walt Disney World
Yeah I know you’re probably thinking how could you possibly have a wonderful date night at Disney World…
…aren’t there kids everywhere?
And yeah, you’re right.
There are definitely kids throughout the Disney Parks, but that doesn’t mean you can’t have a fun day at the parks.
I’ve put together a list of 5 romantic things you can do at Disney World ALL in one day.
This perfect day itinerary can be use for Valentine’s Day or on just a regular day at the Walt Disney World Resort.

How to Plan the PERFECT Romantic Date at Walt Disney World
Now that you know that it’s possible to even enjoy a date night (or day) with your partner at Disney World, let’s go through the most amazing itinerary that I have put together just for you!
1. Start the Day Early and Check into an Onsite Resort
I recommend the Swan & Dolphin Resort as your first stop of the day.
It’s my favorite resort on the property and has great amenities such as early park access plus boat transportation to and from Epcot or Hollywood Studios all for an affordable price.

2. Head over to Epcot for Wine Tasting Around the World
As mentioned before, staying at the Swan & Dolphin gives you quick, easy boat access to the International Gateway entrance of Epcot’s World Showcase.
This back door entrance lands you right in the middle of all the action between the United Kingdom and the France Pavilion…a great place to start your wine tasting adventure (after breakfast of course).
If you want to kick your date up a notch, then do a ThemeParkHipster must do which is to relax and unwind at Tutto Gusto Wine Cellar in Italy Pavilion.

Once you begin your journey inside Epcot, go through this list below and check off each country where you and your partner can get a delicious glass of wine.

3. Return to Swan & Dolphin for a Relaxing Spa Experience
The Mandara Spa at the Swan & Dolphin Resort is one of central Florida’s top resort spas.
It allows you to leave time at the door and offers an array of healing treatments with an ultimate rejuvenating experience for both you and your partner.
You can sometimes luck up and find a magnificent deal for it on Groupon.
4. Enjoy Afternoon Tea at Garden View Tea Room
After your romantic spa experience with your love, it’s time for a little “pick me up”.
Luckily since you’re in a prime location, you can ride over to Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa for afternoon tea (when it returns).
The Garden View Tea Room is a beautiful, serene lounge overlooking the Grand Floridian gardens.
It will give you a chance to escape the hustle and bustle of the theme parks and have a quiet moment with your partner.
And it’s one of my favorite romantic things to do at Disney World that you can also easily do.
However, at the moment it is temporarily unavailable, so I recommend visiting the Enchanted Rose Lounge inspired by the Beauty and the Beast films.

5. Book a Fireworks Dining Experience
To cap off the romantic day at Disney, I strongly suggest booking a fireworks experience of some kind.
You can book restaurant along the World Showcase Lagoon at Epcot to watch the new fireworks show.
OR you can do this for FREE by grabbing a seat on the Disney’s Boardwalk or back at the Swan and Dolphin Resort where you can sit back and enjoy your nice room with the views of both Epcot and Hollywood Studios.

Overall, a romantic date at Walt Disney World is whatever you want it to be. If riding thrill rides with your partner is romantic to you, then go all out.
However, if you’re more of a “sweep me off my feet” type of person, then Victoria & Albert’s is the ultimate Disney date night spot.
While on your romantic Disney trip, don’t forget to order room service with a romantic touch.
The Disney Cast Members will hook you guys up and leave you feeling much closer to each other.
