They operate seasonally with limited hours so it is best to stay up to date with their hours of operation on the My Disney Experience App to make sure they are open on the day of your Magic Kingdom trip.

When they are open for the season, they are open daily from 11 am until 5 pm with the lunch hour being quite busy.

I recommend trying to eat at “off” times for meals since this is a counter-service location.

I suggest going when they first open at 11 am to get ahead of the lunch crowd or even waiting for a late afternoon meal after 3 to refuel for more Disney fun.

The portions are super generous and I am not exaggerating, just wait until you see the Barbecued Slaw Dog piled up in toppings and the Barbecued Pork Sandwich bursting between those buns.

The Orange Chicken Strips are just as huge, well-cooked, and have plenty of sauce, it is all so finger-licking good.

I also love that Tortuga Tavern has plenty of seating that spans across different areas of this Disney restaurant, it is not all concentrated in one spot.
