Now I want to go over some of my favorite things to do here at this incredible waterpark in Orlando.
1. Ride Reef Plunge First
If there’s one attraction I recommend heading to immediately after entering the park, it’s Reef Plunge.
This signature slide sends you through a clear underwater tube where you’ll glide past an aquatic habitat.
Even if you’ve visited other Orlando water parks, it’s still one of Aquatica’s most memorable experiences.
It’s not every day you get to glide past Commerson’s dolphins and leopard sharks!
2. Race Your Friends on Riptide Race
One of the newest additions, Riptide Race, lets multiple riders compete side by side.
It’s surprisingly competitive and one of those attractions that makes you want to jump right back in line for a rematch.
3. Float the Lazy Rivers (My favorite thing to do!)
Don’t rush past them.
One of my favorite things about Aquatica is slowing down enough to enjoy the lazy rivers.
Sometimes the best memories happen when you’re simply floating beneath the palm trees with nowhere else to be and soaking in that vacation feeling.
4. Spend Time at the Wave Pools
Aquatica actually has two different wave pools.
If you can, I suggest taking time to experience both because each offers a different atmosphere.
One tends to feel energetic and playful, while the other is a little more relaxed, depending on the crowd level.
5. Relax on the Beach
Of course it’s not the same as sinking your toes into a real Florida beach. And let’s be honest — your legs deserve a break from those water slide stair climbs too!
