5 Top Family Resorts Near Disney World
Today I will be telling you about some of the best family resorts near Disney World.
1 – Reunion Resort
Located just 6 miles from Disney World, Reunion Resort is home to condos, townhouses and villas in a variety of sizes and price ranges. It has exciting family facilities including a 5-acre water park with a lazy river and twisting slides.
Other highlights are its 3 signature-designed golf courses, boutique spa, tennis courts, fitness center and family-friendly restaurants. Little ones will love the Kids Crew Club and the views of Disney’s nightly fireworks from the rooftop steakhouse.
Love doing bike rides?
You can rent bikes of all sizes and go on a family ride through the woodlands and parks. If you want to head out and about the local area of Kissimmee has great shops, restaurants and family attractions.
It may sound expensive but it actually works out pretty cheap if you split the cost a few ways.
2 – Encore Resort at Reunion
One of the top family resorts in Orlando, Encore is packed with fun things to do. It has a huge water park with a lagoon pool, water slides and a kids’ splash zone. It also offers 3 restaurants, sports courts, a fitness center and a villa delivery service for its restaurant food.

You can enjoy short stays of just three nights or more and benefit from a range of perks including unlimited use of the water park for free.

Less than two miles from Disney World and just 30 minutes from Orlando International Airport, this fun vacation community is perfectly located for a family trip. It’s not packed with amenities but it’s a great place to relax after long days at busy theme parks.
Throughout the resort you’ll find manicured lawns, palm-fringed boulevards and gorgeous lake views. Families can tee off at two mini golf courses, take walks through the manicured grounds or head to the nearby entertainment complex which is packed with restaurants, shops and attractions.

5 – Windsor Hills Resort
A gated community set among natural woodlands and lakes, Windsor Hills is a top spot for families. The lagoon-style pool has fountains, slides and a hot tub. You can play ping pong by the pool or hang out in the gaming arcade or movie room.
The resort also has a sundry shop, a fitness suite and plenty of outdoor activities including sports courts, a kids’ playground and a golf putting green.
