1. Get There Early
I always suggest starting your day early, whether it is Wild Adventures theme park or any other theme park. It’s one of my favorite ways to maximize my time at any travel destination.
Being there for when the gates open means you will not only have enough time for all your favorite rides, but you’ll also have extra time to check out the amazing animals without feeling rushed.

2. Know The Location and Other Planning Details
Before you head out, take a little time to get familiar with the location and any planning details for your trip to Wild Adventures.


Trust me, this small step can save you so much time and take a lot of stress out of your day.
I couldn’t believe how much there is to do at Wild Adventures theme park! I was so surprised at the number of flat rides that were.
This meant that there were plenty of ride options for all types of travelers. I even got a nice ride on the Flying Gator which I truly enjoyed!
So I recommend you try to maximize every possible minute to not miss a single thing.
Where is Wild Adventures Theme Park?
Wild Adventures is located in Valdosta, Georgia.
The address is 3766 Old Clyattville Rd, Valdosta, GA, United States, Georgia.
How far is Wild Adventures from Atlanta and Orlando?
Wild Adventures Valdosta, Georgia, is an easy drive from both Atlanta and Orlando, taking about 3 to 4 hours.


From Orlando to Wild Adventures Valdosta, Georgia you are looking at about 3 hours on I-75 N.
If you’re coming from Atlanta, the trip is a little longer, around three hours and forty minutes via I-75 South. As you can see, it’s such an easy spot to get to from either direction.
How much does it cost to park?
Parking at Wild Adventures theme park is pretty reasonable at only $18 per car, moto, and even for recreational vehicles.
For Gold and Diamond Season Passholders, good news parking is free!
What are the Wild Adventure Hours?
Wild Adventure hours for the theme park are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The Wild Adventure hours for the water park run a little bit differently.
They are open from 11 am to 6 pm for a day filled of splashtastic fun!
Know that they are not open all year round! During some months of the year, they are only open on weekends and for special events, as they are a seasonal theme park. So be sure to check their calendar for their schedule.
3. Save Time and Money and Buy Discounted Wild Adventures Tickets Online
I always recommend buying theme park tickets online, and that goes for Wild Adventures, too.
Doing it ahead of time saves you from standing in line and wasting time that can be spent having fun in the park.

You can expect to pay about $59.99 at the gate. But with a little extra planning and getting them ahead of time, you can see tickets as low as $45.99 and $50.99.

In my opinion, a lot of the Wild Adventure theme park upgrades are surprisingly affordable, especially compared to other theme parks. Something I’m definitely not used to in the Florida parks.


If you have room in your theme park budget, I highly recommend splurging, it is worth every wild penny!

7. Explore the New Water’s Edge
In the middle of the park right by the lake, Water’s Edge is a beautiful place to explore, especially with their new 3-acre expansion.


You can stroll along the lakeside boardwalk, take a ride on the illuminated Ferris wheel or the other smaller rides, or even grab a bite to eat.


I enjoyed myself in this area. The bright colors with the rides and lagoon in the background made it super magical for me.
It’s a great place to go for a bit of relaxation and live music, check out the animal exhibits, the all-new reptile house, and enjoy the zookeeper presentations.
8. Have a Plan to Conquer Your Day
The secret to how to have the best day at Wild Adventures Valdosta, Georgia is simple, have a game plan.

13. Take Breaks Throughout the Day
While Florida is famous for its sunshine, Georgia turns up the heat, especially in the summer months, when you can feel yourself sizzling.
Between the wild rides and awesome shows, you’ll definitely want to pace yourself.
I recommend taking breaks in the stores where you can get a nice blast of air conditioning to cool yourself down.

Wild Adventures is so much more than rides and shows, although they are pretty awesome too!
But animals are a big part of this Georgia theme park with around 85 different types of animals and creatures to encounter.
Not only do the animal exhibits provide an educational experience, but they also offer unique opportunities for incredible encounters with such special animals, including a two-toed sloth, capybara, giraffe, lemurs, and monkeys.
