The moment you step into La Cava del Tequila, you are transported straight to Mexico.
The dim lighting and rustic decor create this super cozy, intimate vibe that feels miles away from the hustle and bustle of the park.
What I love most is how they limit the group sizes, so it never feels crowded or rushed.
Once you arrive, you’ll walk to the front of the line and let the hostess know that you have a reservation for the Tequila Experience.
You’ll then be seated at a reserved table where your tequila sommelier and Certified Tequila Ambassador take you through Mexico’s finest spirits.

Food Options
Don’t worry, they won’t let you sample six tequilas on an empty stomach!
The experience comes with chips and guacamole (which is one of my favorite things to eat at EPCOT).
They also include an accompaniment pairing that has been carefully picked to complement each spirit so you get the full flavor experience.
During my visit, I received:
- Lime zest to enhance certain flavor notes
- Small chocolate pieces that magically transformed the taste of aged tequilas
- A cinnamon stick
- An orange slice that balanced the heat and complexity
- Coffee beans (trust me, they work together)
And like I said before, these pairings aren’t just random munchies as they’re thoughtfully selected to bring out specific flavors in each tequila.
They even had me try dry crickets for one of the tequilas. It wasn’t horrific but I’ll definitely pass on trying it again!

The standout for me was the G4 Tequila. I would never have guessed I’d enjoy a more complex Reposado tequila so much!
