Knott’s Berry Farm, located in Buena Park, California and one of the oldest parks in the country, is kicking off its Seasons of Fun!
They’re starting out with an adorable celebration for the PEANUTS characters and their creator, Charles Schulz.
The PEANUTS cartoons and comic strips are essentially ingrained within the American and global culture and have been beloved by generations since 1950!
Special thanks to Knott’s Berry Farm for allowing me to come and experience the super enjoyable event!
Today, I will be sharing my first timer experience of the event, what there is to see and do, tips and more!

What is the PEANUT celebration?
The Knott’s PEANUT Celebration allows visitors to immerse themselves in various activities, shows, entertainment, food and more that captures the fun and essence of Charlie Brown and his pals.
How Long Does the PEANUTS Celebration Last at Knott’s?
Knott’s Berry Farm runs this family-friendly event daily from January 27 through February 25, 2024.
What time does the PEANUTS Celebration start at Knott’s Berry Farm?
You can start meeting the famous PEANUTS’ character around park opening. All times, locations and entertainment will be listed for your convenience in this guide.

2024 Knott’s PEANUTS Celebration: Shows and Entertainment
What I have learned very quickly during my visits to Knott’s Berry Farm is that their entertainment is fun, well themed and top-notch!
One may come for Knott’s for the coasters, but I think many don’t realize how awesome their entertainment that they offer is during their Seasons of Fun limited time events.
This year, Knott’s added three new things to their entertainment roster, but here is what you can expect!
Peanuts Sketch School
The Bird Cage Theater, located in the iconic Ghost Town, plays host to the “Sketch School”, where a talented artist teaches you how to draw one of the Peanuts Pals.
You can enjoy the Sketch School during the following times: 11:30 a.m., 2:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.
Charlie Brown Trivia Challenge
The “Charlie Brown Trivia Challenge”, where guests can test their knowledge to see who the true Peanuts fan is!
You can enjoy the Trivia Challenge during the following times: 12:30 p.m., 3:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. (times may change without notice).
It’s your life, Charlie Brown
Over at the Calico Mine Stage, you can take a seat at one of the comfy picnic style benches or relax on the grass and enjoy the “It’s your life, Charlie Brown” show.
It’s a celebratory 1950s game show style performance with a charismatic host, vibrant dancers and of course, the PEANUTS friends sharing their memories and doing some fun song and dance numbers.
Snoopy’s Legendary Rooftop Concert
Towards the evening, rock out with Snoopy during his “Snoopy’s Legendary Rooftop Concert” which is a roaring good time!
These shows are two of the three new additions for the event this year and worth seeing for sure!
Times for the “Its your life, Charlie brown” show are 12:30 p.m. and 2 p.m., with the Snoopy’s Legendary Rooftop Concert in the evenings at 5:45 p.m. and 7:15 p.m. (times may change without notice).
Music Goes Round and Around (Final Details for 2024 Pending)
Over yonder near the front of the park at Camp Snoopy, you can pop a squat at the Camp Snoopy Theater to enjoy the musical stylings within the “Music goes round and Around” show.
This shows has returned from the 2018 season and features Snoopy, Sally and Schroeder as they cover different musical topics that Sally wants to write about for a school report!
There are four chances to catch this adorable and foot tapping show at 11:30 a.m., 1 p.m., 3:15 p.m. and 4:15 p.m.
Hipster Power Tip: While you’re at Knott’s Berry Farm, be sure to check out the Peanuts Cowboy Jamboree and don’t miss the chance to meet Franklin in the Town Hall.
Krazy Kirk and the Hillbillies AND James Street Trio
Finally, we have two musical acts to enjoy that are actually non-Peanuts related and run during the evening.
At Wagon Camp, you can catch Krazy Kirk and the Hillbillies at 6 p.m., 7:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. (times may change without notice).

Another big feature for the Knotts Peanuts Celebration is the food, of course!

My Review of the Food at Knott’s PEANUTS Celebration
I was curious and decided to try the Mexican Street Corn and Bacon Pizza, along with one of my guests.
The dish was delightful in my opinion, although if texture is a thing for you, you may have trouble with this one.
There is a sauce that we were not able to confirm that is placed on top of the pizza.
We were given quite A LOT of it and my guest was not too fond of it. However, I didn’t mind it much! Overall, the dish was not overwhelming and quite delicious!
Boysenberry Punch
I paired it with the Boysenberry Punch, as suggested by my guest, and now it’s my new addiction.
It should be noted that if you find yourself in a similar predicament as myself, you can purchase a Boysenberry concentrate for only $10.99 at various stores across the park!
Chocolate, Bacon and Jam Cheeseburger
Another thing I tried was recommended to me by a fellow creator friend and that was the Chocolate, Bacon and Jam Cheeseburger.
I am someone who won’t knock it until you try it and I dare say that if you are adventurous enough, this one is certainly worth giving a shot!
It was sweet and the salt from the burger really makes it amazing!
Personally, I don’t know if i would need the jam; however, it does help with texture and to make the chocolate not overwhelm the taste overall.
Funnel Cake
There are a few treats around too, especially a very yummy Funnel Cake that is perfect for sharing! Make sure to keep an eye out for them along your journey!
I will mention that some of the food items I personally felt are a bit overpriced for what you get.
Knott’s Berry Farm PEANUTS Store and Merchandise
Walking around and exploring shops, you will most likely be able to find PEANUTS Celebration or general PEANUTS merchandise anywhere across the park.
Ieasily found some within SNOOPY’S Camp Store, which I will touch base on shortly.

But particularly for the celebration, Knott’s has a Special Bundle of a Tee with the celebration logo on the front and a specialty pin for the event.
Along my travels of the park, I found plush toys, puzzles, shirts, bottoms, blankets, train sets, pin sets and so much more!
PEANUTS fans will easily find something that interests them!
I was extremely pleased at the affordability of the products offered. If i didn’t have my Passholder discount, I would have still been satisfied with the prices.

If you are like me, you are a big fan of meeting characters! And I was genuinely (and pleasantly) surprised at the variety of characters that the event had!
I was super excited to see Franklin, Pigpen and even Marci! I was not expecting them to showcase or have those characters around!
What’s the best place to meet Knott’s Berry Farm PEANUTS characters?
The best place to meet characters is at Camp Snoopy’s ” Meet your Favorite Peanuts Pals” meet-and-greet spot!
Here I was treated to a minimal wait of less than 5 minutes for Marci, Peppermint Patty’s bestie and got a special surprise when Charlie Brown himself joined us!
I was later told that Marci is a new addition to the meet and greet spot!

Now you might be wondering, “Well where the heck can I find Snoopy in Knott’s Berry Farm???”
Not to worry, we can’t forget about our favorite beagle!
Snoopy can be found at the third and latest addition to the event this year, “To the Moon: Snoopy Soars with NASA” exhibit, where you can check out Snoopy’s intergalactic adventures!
Here Snoopy can be found greeting his friends during these times: 10:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. and 3:00 p.m – 6:00 p.m. (final details pending for 2024).
More Knott’s PEANUTS Celebration Meet-and-Greets
The very first meet-and-greet I encountered was “Pigpen’s Pig Pen”, located at the livery stable within Ghost Town.
Here you can see some adorable animals happily greeting guests. I came across some super cute piglets enjoying a meal.
I was informed that they were only 1 month old! On the other side we saw a gorgeous brown horse enjoying the attention she was getting!
She was a resident for a while and a sweetheart. Towards the back and exit of the livery stable is Pigpen greeting guests and taking photos!
He is available on and off between 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. (times may change without notice).
PEANUTS on the Go Cavalcade
At Charleston Circle, nearby the Calico Mine Stage, you can catch the “Peanuts of the Go” cavalcade!
Charlie and Sally Brown, along with Lucy, circle the fountain and encourage visitors to join them in a min dance party!
They will do quick photo-ops with you before departing but I found the cavalcade very cute and could be an adorable surprise and delight for anyone who happens to be in the area!
Here are the times if you want to plan to record some fun and special moments with your family: 11:30 a.m., 1:15 p.m., 3:00 p.m. and 4:10 p.m. (times may change without notice).
PEANUTS Cowboy Jamboree!
Finally, on the other side of the Calico Mine Stage is the “Peanuts Cowboy Jamboree!”
This is where you will find Franklin and Linus gathering the little ones around with their host friend to join in some fun games inspired by Knott’s Boysenberry pies and more!
You will have a chance to get some quick photos with them here as well!

Camp Snoopy
Over at Camp Snoopy is where you can find the PEANUTS main meet-and-greet at the Camp Snoopy Theater.
For the Knott’s PEANUTS Celebration, the Sierra Railroad has received an overlay!
During your ride, you will see some super cute cutouts of various PEANUTS characters enjoying a fair.
As a big kid, I love theme park trains, so I would have loved this ride either way.
However, the overlay really boosted the experience and was a fun way to start the celebration for me and my party.
There is plenty of dining options in the area and attractions to entertain all ages, boasting 15 in total. This is a great place to start the day for your Knott’s PEANUTS Celebration!

My Final Thoughts on Knott’s PEANUTS Celebration
Overall, I cannot say enough good things about this event! There was plenty of things for you to do specific to the Peanuts Celebration.
In fact, I did only 2 general attractions, not counting the Sierra Railroad: Beagle Bonaza overlay, the entire day.
Everything was very sweet, fun-filled, nostalgic and just delightful in general.
The only complaint I had was the pricing of the food offerings but this was counterbalanced with the impressive quality of the shows and entertainment available!
Plus, the characters were an exceptional highlight and the different ways they were presented around the park were unique and enjoyable.
I would love if they did some sort of character dining experience with the characters in the future!
As mentioned before, this event runs from daily from January 27 – February 25, 2024 and is included with your admission ticket!
