Knott’s Berry Farm, located in Buena Park, California and one of the oldest parks in the country, is kicking off its Seasons of Fun!
They’re starting out with an adorable celebration for the PEANUTS characters and their creator, Charles Schulz.
The PEANUTS cartoons and comic strips are essentially ingrained within the American and global culture and have been beloved by generations since 1950!
Special thanks to Knott’s Berry Farm for allowing me to come and experience the super enjoyable event!
Today, I will be sharing my first timer experience of the event, what there is to see and do, tips and more!

2026 Knott’s PEANUTS Celebration: Shows and Entertainment
What I have learned very quickly during my visits to Knott’s Berry Farm is that their entertainment is fun, well themed and top-notch!
One may come for Knott’s for the coasters, but I think many don’t realize how awesome their entertainment that they offer is during their Seasons of Fun limited time events.
New for this year, Knott’s is rolling out the ALL-NEW Knott’s Express to their entertainment roster. A musical celebration along the Boardwalk midway and into Charleston Circle featuring Charlie Brown, Linus, Sally, along with a whole crew of singers and dancers.
Swing by Kite Flying Foibles at Town Hall in Ghost Town, another new experience at Knott’s Peanuts Celebration. This traveling exhibit lets you fly high with the PEANUTS gang through classic comic strips, original artwork, and nostalgic photos.

Peanuts Sketch School
The Wilderness Dance Hall, located in the iconic Ghost Town, plays host to the “Sketch School”, where a talented artist teaches you how to draw one of the Peanuts Pals.
You can enjoy the Sketch School during the following times: 12:30 p.m., 1:30 p.m., 3:30 p.m., 4:30 p.m., 5:30 p.m., and 6:30 p.m. on select dates.
Let’s Celebrate, Charlie Brown!
Over at the Calico Mine Stage, you can take a seat at one of the comfy picnic style benches or relax on the grass and enjoy the “Let’s Celebrate!” show.
It’s a celebratory musical performance with a charismatic host, vibrant dancers and of course, the PEANUTS friends sharing their memories and doing some fun song and dance numbers.
Showtimes at 12:30 p.m. and 2 p.m.

Snoopy’s Legendary Rooftop Concert
Towards the evening, rock out with Snoopy during his “Snoopy’s Legendary Rooftop Concert” which is a roaring good time!
These shows are worth seeing for sure!

Pigpen’s Pig Pen
Over at the Livery Stable messy friend Pigpen is hosting a special meet-and-greet with some adorable animal pals and the PEANUTS Gang.
Vince Guaraldi Trio Tribute AND James Street Trio
Finally, we have two musical acts to enjoy that are actually non-Peanuts related and run during the evening.
At Wagon Camp, you can catch Vince Guaraldi Trio Tribute at 5 p.m., 6:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. (times may change without notice).
2026 Knott’s Berry Farm PEANUTS Celebration Food
Another big feature for the Knotts Peanuts Celebration is the food, of course!
There is a wide variety of options to choose from, which I have provided a list of the best things to eat here:
- Cajun Fries with Cheese Sauce (Location: Papas Mexicanas)
- Tacos de Queso con Raja (Location: Baja Taqueria)
- Balsamic Mushroom and Goat Cheese Pizza with Spinach (Location: Prop Shop Pizzeria)
- Confetti Birthday Funnel Cake (Location: Sutter’s Funnel Cake)
- Churro Bite Funnel Cake (Location: Log Ride Funnel Cake)

My Review of the Food at Knott’s PEANUTS Celebration
I was curious and decided to try the Balsamic Mushroom and Goat Cheese Pizza with Spinach, along with one of my guests.
The dish was delightful in my opinion, although if texture is a thing for you, you may have trouble with this one.
However, I didn’t mind it much! Overall, the dish was not too overwhelming and quite delicious!
Mandarin Mint Lemonade
I paired it with the Mandarin Mint Lemonade, as suggested by my guest, and now it’s my new addiction.
It was citrusy and refreshingly minty, which I thought was perfectly balanced with just the right amount of zing. The flavors worked so well together, I could sip this all day!
Cheesy Mac and Cheese Bites with BBQ Bacon and Spicy Aioli
A fellow creator friend recommended the Cheesy Mac and Cheese Bites with BBQ Bacon and Spicy Aioli, and since I loved the Chocolate, Bacon, and Jam Cheeseburger in years past (plus I’m a bacon fan), this was an easy yes.
I am someone who won’t knock it until you try it and I dare say that if you are adventurous enough, this one is certainly worth giving a shot!
Personally, I don’t know if I would need the spicy aioli; however, it does help with texture and to add to the taste overall.
Funnel Cake
There are a few treats around too, especially a very yummy Deep-Fried Strawberry Cheesecake Funnel Cake with Pecans, Confetti Birthday Funnel Cake and Churro Bite Funnel Cake that are perfect for sharing!
Make sure to keep an eye out for them along your journey!
I will mention that some of the food items I personally felt are a bit overpriced for what you get.
Knott’s Berry Farm PEANUTS Store and Merchandise
Walking around and exploring shops, you will most likely be able to find PEANUTS Celebration or general PEANUTS merchandise anywhere across the park.
I easily found some within SNOOPY’S Camp Store, which I will touch base on shortly.

But particularly for the celebration, Knott’s has a Commemorative Special Tee with the celebration logo on the front for the event.
Along my travels of the park, I found plush toys, puzzles, shirts, bottoms, blankets, train sets, pin sets and so much more!
PEANUTS fans will easily find something that interests them!
I was extremely pleased at the affordability of the products offered. If I didn’t have my Passholder discount, I would have still been satisfied with the prices.

If you are like me, you are a big fan of meeting characters! And I was genuinely (and pleasantly) surprised at the variety of characters that the event had!
I was super excited to see Franklin, Pigpen and even Marci! I was not expecting them to showcase or have those characters around!
What’s the best place to meet Knott’s Berry Farm PEANUTS characters?
The best place to meet characters is at Camp Snoopy’s ” Meet your Favorite Peanuts Pals” meet-and-greet spot!
Here I was treated to a minimal wait of less than 5 minutes for Marci, Peppermint Patty’s bestie and got a special surprise when Charlie Brown himself joined us!
I was later told that Marci is a new addition to the meet and greet spot!

Now you might be wondering, “Well where the heck can I find Snoopy in Knott’s Berry Farm???”
Not to worry, we can’t forget about our favorite beagle!
Snoopy can be found at the Beagle Scout Headquarters a themed interactive space where you can also meet up with your favorite characters.
Here Snoopy can be found greeting his friends during these times: 10:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. (final details pending for 2026).
More Knott’s PEANUTS Celebration Meet-and-Greets
The very first meet-and-greet I encountered was “Pigpen’s Pig Pen”, located at the livery stable within Ghost Town.
Here you can see some adorable animals happily greeting guests. I came across some super cute piglets enjoying a meal.
I was informed that they were only 1 month old! On the other side we saw a gorgeous brown horse enjoying the attention she was getting!
She was a resident for a while and a sweetheart. Towards the back and exit of the livery stable is Pigpen greeting guests and taking photos!
He is available on and off between 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. (times may change without notice).
PEANUTS on the Go Cavalcade
At Charleston Circle, nearby the Calico Mine Stage, you can catch the “Peanuts of the Go” cavalcade!
Charlie and Sally Brown, along with Lucy, circle the fountain and encourage visitors to join them in a min dance party!
They will do quick photo-ops with you before departing but I found the cavalcade very cute and could be an adorable surprise and delight for anyone who happens to be in the area!

PEANUTS Cowboy Jamboree!
Finally, on the other side of the Calico Mine Stage is the “Peanuts Cowboy Jamboree!”
This is where you will find Franklin and Schroeder gathering the little ones around with their host friend to join in some fun games inspired by Knott’s Boysenberry pies and more!
You will have a chance to get some quick photos with them here as well!

Camp Snoopy
Over at Camp Snoopy is where you can find the PEANUTS main meet-and-greet at the Camp Snoopy Theater.
For the Knott’s PEANUTS Celebration, the Sierra Railroad has received an overlay!
During your ride, you will see some super cute cutouts of various PEANUTS characters enjoying a fair.
As a big kid, I love theme park trains, so I would have loved this ride either way.
However, the overlay really boosted the experience and was a fun way to start the celebration for me and my party.
There is plenty of dining options in the area and attractions to entertain all ages, boasting 15 in total. This is a great place to start the day for your Knott’s PEANUTS Celebration!

My Final Thoughts on Knott’s PEANUTS Celebration
Overall, I cannot say enough good things about this event! There was plenty of things for you to do specific to the Peanuts Celebration.
In fact, I did only 2 general attractions, not counting the Sierra Railroad: Beagle Bonaza overlay, the entire day.
Everything was very sweet, fun-filled, nostalgic and just delightful in general.
The only complaint I had was the pricing of the food offerings but this was counterbalanced with the impressive quality of the shows and entertainment available!
Plus, the characters were an exceptional highlight and the different ways they were presented around the park were unique and enjoyable.
I would love if they did some sort of character dining experience with the characters in the future!
As mentioned before, this event runs on the weekends from January 31, 2026 through February 22, 2026 and is included with your admission ticket!
