One of the latest additions to Disney’s Hollywood Studios was Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge on August 29, 2019.
Oga’s Cantina opened to great acclaim and years later, to some criticism, the opening of Galactic Starcruiser earlier this year.
This Cantina, located on the outer rim planet of Batuu, features an interesting variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages that will light the taste buds of all who wish to indulge.
It is a well-known place for bandits, smugglers, bounty hunters and travelers, such as us, who come to mingle and enjoy a good stiff drink.
Entertainment is provided by Former pilot droid, R-3X, who helps out owner, Oga Garra, a Blutopian crime boss.
No matter what your opinion is, we can agree that the drinks at Oga’s Cantina are, while a bit overpriced, very tasty and unique to the land it occupies.
Today, I will give you 5 of the best drink offerings of this underground cantina deep inside the world of Batuu. I’ll also tell you what makes them yummy and worth your visit!

1. Fuzzy Tauntaun
Let’s get this one out of the way. The drink is named after a species of snow lixard native to the ice planet of Hoth, seen in “The Empire Strikes Back.”
The rebel alliance used them for patrolling and, spoiler alert, the body of one was used to save Luke Skywalker’s life.

Personally, when i first heard rumblings of Oga’s Cantina, almost everyone told me to get the Fuzzy Tauntaun.
This Star Wars drink is regarded as interesting due to the fact that the drink leaves a numbing tingly sensation on your lips. Making it one of the most unique and best drinks in Oga’s Cantina.
It scared me a bit admittedly when I first drank it but it truly was a sensationally, scrumptious beverage.
What are the ingredients of the Fuzzy Tauntaun at Disney?
The concoction features Ciroc Peach Vodka, Bols Peach Schnapps, Simply Orange with a hint of tangerine, pure can sugar and “Buzz Button Tingling” foam to top it off.
The buzz button itself is usually a garnish eaten in its entirety; however, Disney has managed to infuse it into the foam to give the signature tingling effect to the drink.
Overall, the drink is very fruity and delightful. To avoid the tingling sensation on your lips, you can ask for a straw.

The drink has recently made its return back to the cantina menu in mid- August and costs $18.50.

2. Yub Nub
This next drink on the list is the “Yub Nub,” named after the Ewok word meaning “Freedom!” It is directly linked to the Ewok’s home world, the forest moon of Endor.
Why We Love This Drink in Star Wars Land
There is a cup in which the drink it’s served in showcases imagery of the Ewoks participation in the Battle of Endor.
The battle was a major military move between the Rebel Alliance and the Empire, which the Ewoks bravely fought within.
What are the ingredients of the Yub Nub at Disney?
The Yub Nub is my main favorite from the Oga’s Cantina because I’m a huge fan of rum, which is a major component of the beverage.
It boasts Malibu Pineapple Rum, Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum, citrus juices and passion fruit. It is served in the cup mentioned above.

In total, the drink honoring the Ewoks is $46 and is strong, dark with a hint of airy citrus flavor.
In a way, it reminds me of something inspired by the forest of Endor itself. I would love to see what I tastes like with a bit of cherry, rather than passionfruit.

3. The Outer Rim
This next one is for my tequila and margarita fans!
The Outer rim refers to the largest area in the galaxy, the outer rim territories. Known as the location for various factions including smugglers, pirates and various range of criminals to retreat to hiding.
This area of the galaxy is a lawless area riddled with diverse and primitive planets.
Hipster Power Tip: Oga’s Catina is mostly standing room. If you require a seat for a specific reason be sure to tell the host or hostess outside of the Cantina so they will reserve a seat for your group. Also book your reservations ASAP!
What are the ingredients of The Outer Rim at Disney?
The drink itself is a goldish brown color featuring Patron Silver tequila, Stirrings Pomegranate liqueur, lime juice, pure cane sugar topped with black salt around the rim and exotic fruit puree.
It is very reminiscent of the mysterious territories for which it is named.
The drink was prominent in convincing cantina patrons one fateful night to join the resistance, thus aiding to defeat the first order.

The way the tequila mixes with the fruit puree and salt on the rim is extremely pleasant and a fun take on the margarita. To partake in the drink will cost you $19.50.

4. Jedi Mind Trick
This next one is very special!
The Jedi Mind Trick is named after the Jedi’s ability of the force to manipulate the thoughts, actions and behavior of an individual simply with a wave of their hand and using a suggestive tone.
We saw a great example of this when Anakin, Mace and Obi-wan attempted to get details from Cad Bane.
Kylo Ren and Rey have been seen using this trick, but it was first seen implemented by Obi- Wan to gain passage to Alderaan during “A New Hope.”

The drink itself is supposed to change flavors as it is consumed, and it is intended that it start off as one drink and end as an entirely different one.
What are the ingredients of The Jedi Mind Trick at Disney?
It is created with Ketel One botanical grapefruit and rose vodka, John D. Taylor’s Velvet Falernum, Bols Blue Curacao, White Grape Juice, Lime Juice and completed with grapefruit bitters.
Blue in color, it is truly mysterious, flavorful and immensely enjoyable to drink. It’s a kind of drink that is meant to truly take all in for what it is.

Fragrant, due to the bitters, it is a bit tart but its such a nice experience for something as simple as a $17.50 drink, which might be the cheapest signature drink on the menu.

5. Bespin Fizz
Rounding out our list is the Bespin Fizz!
Served in a tall, thin glass and topped with a cloud of steam, this drink is named after the gas giant located in the outer rim territories, known for its rare tibanna gas.
Why We Love This Drink in Star Wars Land
This is a great option for those who want something slightly similar to the fuzzy tauntaun, without the buzz button effects of the drink.
Bespin was first seen in “The Empire Strikes Back,” later to be discovered that the gas giant was against the first order and openly rebelled against them.
What are the ingredients of The Bespin at Disney?
The concoction is crafted with Bacardi Superior rum, one of my personal favorites, Yuzu Puree, made from an east Asian citrus fruit, pomegranate juice, white cranberry juice and topped with a cloud swirl reminiscent of the tibanna gasses of Bespin.
The Yuzu puree is personally the highlight of the drink, tasting similar to a sour mandarin orange and similar in size to a small grapefruit.
The fruit itself has amazing health benefits, just like Bespin has to the Galaxy. Making it one of the best drinks at Oga’s Cantina at Disney.

My Final Thoughts on the Best Drinks at Oga’s Cantina
If you’re visiting Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge for the first time, I you MUST put Oga’s Cantina on your list.
It is a bit small and if I’m honest, you may have to stand; however, the experience is worth it.
The atmosphere is electric, and you are fully immersed in the outer rim experience of Batuu and just a small part of the Star Wars universe and story.
Oga’s Cantina serves up other fares such as beer on tap, wine and non-alcoholic beverages. However, I must admit, the DJ really knows how to keep the vibes going during your stay!
