Do you remember the Disney Channel show from the 1990s called Inside Out?
Did the ThemeParkHipster really go there?
Yes I did 🙂
Because the other day I was checking out YouTube to watch past Walt Disney World documentaries and low and behold I came across some old videos of Walt Disney World Inside Out.
One of my absolute favorite shows ever produced on the Disney Channel!
How did I end up going down the Disney nostalgia road when I was supposed to be acting like a grown-up…
The other evening I was going through my past receipts and paperwork preparing to file my taxes. It’s something we 20 and 30-somethings like to refer to as “adulting.”
It’s a term coined on Twitter which means doing the monotonous things that a responsible adult is supposed to do such as, paying bills, filing taxes, showing up for work, and many of the ridiculousness that comes with being an adult.
Basically it’s the opposite of everything you truly want to do, such as geeking out with friends of the same fandom (for me it’s Harry Potter), playing video games, drinking around Epcot’s World Showcase, or anything you may feel takes you away from the mundane requirements of adulthood.
Back to the original story…
Happy Sunday Hipsters! It’s time for your Walt Disney World News Around the Mouse

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas… well kind of. Walt Disney World Resort has started placing Disney Christmas decor all around the magical central Florida destination!
You can now see holiday displays throughout the Walt Disney World Resort. The Holiday Services team will be installing yuletide designs at Epcot after park hours on Nov. 13th-14th. The Holiday Services team will also be installing holiday decor at Disney’s Animal Kingdom after park hours on Nov. 17th-18th. This is definitely my favorite time of year at Disney.
This fall, Disney’s “Move It! Shake It! Celebrate It!” Street Party at Magic Kingdom Park is getting a fresh, contemporary look and sound – plus a brand new name – when it becomes the “Move it! Shake It! Dance & Play It!” Street Party. This new procession will feature new music, new characters, refreshed floats with new video elements, and new opportunities for Guests to become part of the show.
The excitement will begin on Main Street, U.S.A. and will continue towards Cinderella Castle with popular Disney characters, stilt walkers, and the rest of the party peeps encouraging everyone to join in. The parade gets wild on Central Plaza once hosts Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, and Goofy show up!
It’s official! The construction for the AVATAR inspired land at Disney’s Animal Kingdom has begun. Giant blue shovels and a life sized Na’vi marked the start of this exciting park expansion.
Villains of the many Disney classics were all out in their entire glory! Friday the 13th was upon us and the night was invaded with the mischievous characters we’ve all come to have a love-hate relationship with.
