It would model after the 2015 Jurassic World and 2018 Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom films.

Universal Creative got right to work on the re-theme, with John Corfino as the project director.

The team worked with the director and producer of the 2015 film, while finding ways to blend elements of the old ride with the new theme.

Once the idea was pitched and approved by Stephen Spielberg, the team got to work to have the ride completed by the summer season.

The famous Industrial Light and Magic crew worked with Universal Creative to digitally bring to life and feature the Mosasaurus that appeared in the movie.

The four walls create a 3D tank effect.

This makes objects in the foreground move faster than those in the background, a technique that gives the Mosasaurus a realistic appearance.

And just like the film, the new animatronics of the dinosaurs are a lot bigger and updated to move smoother than the original ones.

The new version of the attraction, Jurassic World: The Ride, would debut in July 2019. To this day, it continues to be extremely popular with visitors.
