Best Thing I Ever Ate: Chicken and Waffle at Universal Studios

We’re taking it to the south for this week’s Best Thing I Ever Ate series! I’m a southern ThemePark gal whose roots are in central Florida. When we eat, we eat and it becomes more like a spiritual experience than a moment of must have sustenance. It’s no wonder that Cletus’ Chicken Shack over at Universal Studios Orlando has my foodie heart with its savory Chicken and Waffle sandwich.

Yesterday I took a walk around the park to see if there were any hints of just how scary and taunting this year’s fearful festival would be. And boy was I freakishly impressed. Although many attractions were covered I was able to get a glimpse of a few set designs lining the park.

Can I say OMG! Where have I been for the past few ThemePark years! And yes I said experience because it was so much more than an ice-cream treat. The Croque Glace is the type of foodie adventure you have to sit down, be quiet and just relish in the party that’s taking place on your palate.
