Disney Drink Highlight: Grandma’s Picnic Punch
Are you ready to travel back in time? A time where coming home to a stiff cocktail on the rocks was the norm and a way to decompress from the rat race of the world.
Well this week’s HIPSTER Drink of the Week is Grandma’s Picnic Punch found in Hollywood Studios Tune-In Lounge.
For the Disney foodies or the Hipsters who just loves great dining will be happy to hear about the savory changes coming to the Boatwright’s Dining Hall menu. This Port Orleans Resort restaurant is a fan favorite through the southern, creole inspired dishes served daily for guests.
Changes that have taken place on the menu will show the removal of the Gulf Delta Chilled Shellfish in addition of the Ol’ Man Island Oysters. Boatwright’s Dining Hall has added the new Colonel’s Peace Pieces which combines a blend of lightly fried oysters, crawfish, shrimp, and okra drizzled with the house-made remoulade.
If you’re a fan of true Alaskan salmon, then you’ll be happy to know that the Copper River Salmon has made its way back to the menus at Walt Disney World.
You find this delicious salmon at Artist Point at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, California Grill at Disney’s Contemporary Resort, and Flying Fish Café at Disney’s Boardwalk area. The delicious and prized salmon is only available from mid-May to mid-June of 2015.
The always growing fans of the Fort Wilderness adventures will be happy to know that Disney will be releasing T-shirts inspired by Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort until May 3rd. The T-Shirts will also be inspired by the Campground itself and its long-running dinner show, the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue.
