So Hipsters…I apologize in advance for the Harry Potter overload of stories coming from me for the next few months. I will try to spread them out as much as I can for the Muggles uninterested in the tales of the Boy Who Lived. However, being a Rowling fan and a fan of the wonderful universe she has created makes it hard for me not to want to write as many posts about the Diagon Alley expansion as I can.
A thrilling celebration was in store for Aquatica guests on Friday as Ihu’s Breakaway Falls opened to a tropical grand celebration. It was SeaWorld’s way of kicking off their summertime festivities.
The ride is named after the park’s colorful gecko mascot, Ihu, and is Aquatica’s first new ride since 2010.
Sunday was filled with bright spring colors of elegant dresses and ravishing suits for Dapper Day. Where the adventure in the park was all about the soirée of classic fashions at the Magic Kingdom…and I, of course, had to participate in this gala with my friends!
The birds, the bees, and most importantly the full bellies are all things to be expected while conquering the Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival. You will find me there in the midst of the colorful garden creations, the vivacious seminar hosts, and the consuming cocktails in true honor of the Mouse from March 5th -May 18th.
Finally I can write a piece on my city of Tampa Bay, the sibling of Orlando. The day was like one of the many perfect weekend days that Florida is known for. It was also a day for me to indulge into the smells of fried food heaven, the hackling Midway gaming men, the sunshine state’s agricultural world, the local art, and the quickly put together rides that are staples of the Florida State Fair.
I believe many people will say that being an adult means putting away childish things, living responsibly and maturely in society. Sometimes the focus of “adulthood” and all of the things that come with it can take the joy of life away from us. We focus on the day to day responsibilities of work, family, and the expectations of this world that we forget to pause and enjoy the life we have.
Muggles, Witches, and Wizards all came dressed to celebrate The Boy Who Lived this past weekend at Universal Studios Orlando.
It was absolutely epic!
This quote is what I’ve been reciting every other day for the past couple of weeks. I hate to go all “Chicken Soup for the Soul” on you, but every day is a new opportunity to face my fears and take risks that a year ago I would have never thought about doing.
Warner Bros. and Universal Studios Orlando are partnering up again to celebrate the magic of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter for the approaching weekend. This celebration will recognize the amazing storytelling and cinematic feats used to bring this wonderful world to life.
The year is starting off right and as mentioned in my resolution list, I am truly determined to complete each goal this time around.
