Christmas in Central Florida 2012

I love, love, love this time of the year! We may not have snow like our northern pals, but we do have our on way of celebrating here in Florida. If we’re fortunate enough the temperature may drop into the 50s, maybe even the upper 40s, to give us that tropical Christmas weather that we love.

HIPSTER Review: Universal’s Halloween Horror Nights 22 Orlando

My trip to Orlando last weekend was filled with exciting events. One of the events that I had the pleasure of attending was Halloween Horror Nights 22 (HHN) over at Universal Studios. With my nerves on ten I kept playing scenarios of possible chilling scenes that were on the way. Once finally able to push them aside, I entered the crowded gates of HHN for a somewhat spine-tingling evening.

HIPSTER Review: Busch Garden’s Tampa Howl-O-Scream 2012

This past weekend I made my way over to Busch Gardens for their annual Howl-O-Scream event. To my surprise I had a great time! Getting there early really helped me optimize my time and I was able to go through five of the six houses (I skipped the shows this year to focus on the haunted attractions).

“Fall Event Jitters”

Busch Gardens Tampa Bay

Busch Gardens Tampa Bay

I’ve been working seven days straight without having the chance to check out the latest fall dĂ©cor over at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay. This is mostly due to my night shifts that leave me extremely tired the next day.

“Riesling mixed with blogging….What kind of writing is that?”

Theme park hopping has always been a passion of mine since early childhood; however, I had to “crawl before I walked” in relation to the hierarchy of amusement parks out here. I wanted to visit Walt Disney World since my first conception of theme parks, but I started my early years out at places such as Board Walk and Baseball, SeaWorld Orlando, Cypress Gardens, and Universal Studios Orlando (which was absolutely awesome in the 90s).

“Keeping the Magic until the End”

ThemeParkHipster LogoThis blog is for the young at heart who love the non-traditional way of park hopping. We have grown up with the love of the whimsical magic that the parks here in central Florida have come to display; however, as adulthood sneaks upon us we are expected to “put away” childish things and to live in a constant reality.
